For My Research Paper, I Have Decided To Explore The Human
For my research paper, I have decided to explore the human behavior of aggression. Webster defines aggression as a forceful action or procedure especially when intended to dominate or master. This paper will cover aggression in children, adults, causes and effects of aggression, aggression in relationships and violence. Aggression comes in many different forms and should all be treated and recognized before developing into something bigger. There are many different types of aggression including accidental, expressive, hostile and instrumental. Accidental aggression is not intentional and is a result of carelessness. This is often seen in children or a person in a hurry. Expressive aggression is intentional but is not meant to cause anyâ⬠¦show more contentâ⬠¦Aggression in adults is very common. If the aggression is not treated as a child it can become more harmful when enter adulthood. Adults most commonly show aggression when driving. Adults tend to act aggressively in response to negative experiences. Unfortunately for adults if aggression is not treated results can vary from jail time to developing a untreatable behavior disorder. Aggression and violence are not the same. While a person who commits an act of violence may be acting with aggression a person with an aggressive in nature (Aggression and Violence, 2016). Aggression does not have harmful intent other than violence. Violence may be predatory in natur e. Violence can develop from situational or environmental factors and may result from a mental condition or from a personal or cultural beliefs (Aggression and Violence, 2016). Aggression and violence both have negative effects. Another factor that influences aggression is a personââ¬â¢s environment. What a person is raised and surrounded by can affect them also. Is a person is raised in a rough environment that may cause much of the aggressive behavior that they display.
